The Pro Bono Journey of Carpe Diem®
At Carpe Diem®,, we believe that leadership isn’t confined to boardrooms of corporations-it begins with nurturing belief, resilience, and potential in the youngest among us. In 2005, our founder, Mr. T. Ramakrishnan (Ramki), embarked on an extraordinary mission to create a generation of winners. This vision materialized as the Winning Edge Program, a pro bono initiative dedicated to empowering 11th graders from less privileged backgrounds and embracing students from every spectrum, reaffirming that growth and excellence should be within reach for all.
Designed to instill self-belief and foster a winning mindset, the Winning Edge Program equips young minds with the tools to overcome challenges and realise their true potential. Each year, 300 to 750 students from diverse communities’ step into this transformative journey, discovering their strengths and unlocking new possibilities. The program doesn’t just teach skills-it ignites hope, confidence, and ambition.
Over the years, more than 17 educational institutions have partnered with us. The passion
and dedication of our facilitators ensure that the program transcends classrooms, leaving a lasting impact on every child it touches. The Winning Edge Program is more than just an initiative-it is a movement. We look forward to collaborating with like-minded partners who share our vision of nurturing future leaders and empowering young minds.
